Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences has conducted the Lamp Lighting Ceremony of 26th batch of B Sc (N) and GNM students on 25th November 2017 in Paneer Campus Auditorium at 09.30 am. Prof. Shanthi Renilda Lobo, Principal, Kanachur College of Nursing, Derlakatte was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Prof. Fatima D’ Silva, Principal College of Nursing, Prof. Sabitha Nayak, Vice. Principal, College of Nursing, Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal, School of Nursing and Mrs. Sherly Lukas, Nursing Superintendent - Justice K.S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte were present for the function.
Mrs. Jeevitha Alva, Class coordinator, I Year B Sc (N) delivered the welcome speech and the function began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by all the dignitaries. Chief Guest Prof. Shanthi Renilda Lobo, Principal, Kanachur College of Nursing garlanded Florence Nightingale as a token of honor. The dignitaries lighted the lamp to all 125 students and Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal School of Nursing led the students in oath taking. Mrs. Reeta D' Costa, Coordinator I Year GNM proposed the vote of thanks.
