A mobile application developed by the students and for the students which encapsulates the class notes of 1st year engineering of all the VTU and Autonomous Colleges.
A group of eight Engineering students and one animation designer developed this app and launched at the office of the Talent Research Foundation on September 16. Mr.Rahul R Pai, a fifth semester mechanical engineering student from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte and his friends Pooja Shetty, Sadhana Mayya, Mohammad Mubeen Shaikh, Prajwal P, Deepthi P, Prajwal Lingad, Seethal HM and Arpita Ankalagi were the people behind developing this wonderful mobile application.
This Mobile Application can be termed as a last moment preparation guide before the exam, a brush up tool for interviews and jobs, a peripheral introduction to basic engineering concepts before giving any competitive exams.
The Syllabus for the first year engineering students is common across all the streams. The App is based on syllabus from VTU as well as from about six autonomous colleges. Hence, students will have free access to the notes of all the subjects under one platform and it is available totally offline. Since the App has been prepared by the students using their notes itself it has very simplified explanation of all the relevant topics with relevant diagrams which enhances the quality and simplifies the process of learning.
Developers also provide a platform for students to get their doubts clarified. ‘Enginera’ is the right choice on the go! The developers are also thinking about extending this facility to second and third year Engineering students too in the coming days.
5000+ downloads have been witnessed within 6 days of the launch of this app. 310 students who downloaded the app have given an average rating of 4.6 out of 5.
