Nurses Day Celebration 2017 - NUINS

The birthday of Florence Nightingale on 12th May is celebrated World Wide as Nurses Day. Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences and Justice K.S Hegde hospital, Deralakatte, jointly celebrated nurse’s day in the hospital. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Registrar of KSHEMA, Dr Jayaprakash Shetty was the chief guest He rendered floral tribute to Florence Nightingale by garlanding the portrait. In his message the impotence of self less service rendered by the nurses was well appreciated. On behalf of the management, the medical superintendent Dr. Major Shivakumar Hiremath honoured the nurses with outstanding performance namely Mrs. Lalitha, Mrs. Jayanthi, Mrs. Janaki, Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Jacintha with Nurse Excellence Awards. The senior nurses of the hospital Shared their experiences with the media. Ms. Pavithra, Asst. Lecturer of Nursing College welcomed the gathering. Ms. Swathi, Asst. Lecturer ,compared the programme and thanked the gathering.
