Alumni reunion - NUINS

Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, Constituent College of Nitte University organized Alumni reunion on the occasion of Silver Jubilee Year on 7th January 2017 at Nitte International Centre, Pumpwell, Mangalore. Prof.(Dr).Shantharam Shetty, Pro Chancellor(Hospital Management and Medical PG studies), Nitte University, the Chief Guest felicitated and acknowledged six senior alumni for their long standing service to the parent hospital - Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital since past 10 years. In his presidential address he recognized the tremendous service and contribution of Alumni for the society and wished success for the Silver Jubilee Year. Dr. Fatima D’Silva, Ex-Officio President of Alumni Association congratulated all the Alumni for their contribution to the profession and Alma mater. The report of the Alumni Association was presented by Mrs. Subin Maria Jacob, Editor of the Alumni Association. Around 65 Alumni from in and around Mangalore attended the meeting. Mrs. Latha.S, from 2nd batch of PG Alumni welcomed the gathering. Mrs.Cleeta Pinto Principal School of Nursing co ordinated the programme. Ms. Halita Pinto was the MC for the programme.On this occasion election of new office bearers for the coming year was also organized. Mrs .Cleeta Pinto, from 5th batch of PG Alumni was unanimously elected as the Secretary of the Association.
