The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing along with the III rd year B.Sc (N) students organized a Anti obesity day Health Programme, in Belma Grama Panchayath Office, Deralakatte on 29.11.2016, from 11am to 1.00pm under the guidance of Lecturer, Mrs. Mamatha . The programme began with a short introductory programme. Health awareness Mime show followed by talk on importance of Prevention and management of obesity was given by students with the help of charts followed by a video presentation on exercise programme. Screening programme for obesity by measuring height; weight and Blood pressure monitoring were carried out and recorded by the students. The Pachayath Secretary expressed his gratitude towards the college.
