Guest Lecture by Community Health Nursing Department - NUINS

The Department of Community Health Nursing organized a Guest lecture on “Women empowerment and gender equality” on 08-08-2016 between 2-4 Pm at K.S Hegde Charitable Hospital Seminar Hall. Programme started at 2.00pm with welcome speech by Mr. Jince V John. He introduced the guest speaker Dr. Maxie Martis, Asst Professor, King Khalid University, Abha, Kingdom Saudi Arabia to the gathering. Dr. Maxie Martis, delivered brief talk on Women empowerment and gender equality. She discussed on introduction, objectives, components and important aspects of women empowerment and gender equality .She emphasized on importance of women empowerment in public and nation. Dr. Neetha Kamath HOD Dept. of Community Health Nursing presented certificate to Dr. Maxie Martis. The program was compered by Mr. Vallesh R Shetty. The programme concluded at 3.30 pm with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.Suchitra B S
