Ramzan celebrations - MRSMEMHS

‘Keeping oneself hungry for 18 to 20 hours helps empathising the thousands of people around, without a square meal a day. This encourages people to share whatever they have in surplus among the needy. Every muslim is required to share 2.5% of his income per every member of the family in this month.’ Said Lion Mohidin Kunhi , member of RC Region 05, Lion’s Club International Dist. 317D at Dr. M Ramanna Shetty Memorial English Medium High School on the event of celebrating Ramzan. Rahil Yusuf Aboobakkar and Mohammed Fahiz of class VIII read verses from Holy Khuran. Students performed the traditional Oppana .It is a popular form of social entertainment among the Mappila (Kerala Muslims) community of Kerala, South India.

Principal Mrs. Shreelatha Rao welcomed and introduced the guest. Abdul Sadeed Hejmadi of class IX briefed on the importance of the day, Master Ateef Hussain Sheikh proposed Vote of thanks, Ms. Rafa Sulthana of class X anchored the programme. Mr. Yadav Devadiga, the PTA president expressed his views. The function was witnessed by members of PTA.
