Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing organized a seminar on the theme of “Women and Newborns: The Heart of Midwifery” on International Day of Midwives 2016 on 05/05/2016 at Seminar Hall, Justice K. S. Hegde Hospital. Dr. M.V. Smitha, Professor of Srinivas Nursing College, Mangalore was the resource person for the session. Prof. Sabitha Nayak, Vice-Principal and HOD Dept. of OBG Nursing, Prof. Shynee Paul, Prof. Philomena Fernandes and Mrs. Sunanda. B, Lecturer, Dept. of OBG nursing, International nursing students from Belgium, nursing staffs from K.S,Hegde Hospital and faculty from the various departments from NUINS participated on this occasion. Total number of beneficiaries were 45.
