A dental/oral awareness, screening and treatment camp was held at Sri Krishna Mutt, Udupi 10.04.2016. Post graduate students of the Department of Periodontics and Oral Surgery, Interns and volunteers of NSS unit of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences screened around 100 patients. The camp was organized by the Paryaya Sri Pejawar Adhokshja Mutt, Sri Krishna Mutt, Udupi. The inaugural function commenced by lighting the lamp and was addressed by Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji of Sri Pejawar Adhokshja Mutt. Dr. Kumuda Rao Program Officer, NSS ABSMIDS unit spokeon the importance of oral hygiene. Sri Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji of Sri Pejawar Adhokshja Mutt blessed the doctors. Dr. Ravi private practitioner from Udupi, Dr. Kumuda Rao Program Officer, NSS ABSMIDS unit and Dr. Shilpa M. from community department also participated in the camp.
