Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, organized an International seminar on “Ventilator care” on 18/03/2016 at 11am in the NUINS Seminar Hall. Dr. Fatima D’silva Principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Mrs. Cleeta Anline Pinto, Asst. Professor, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing welcomed the gathering. Mr. Dave H.H, Certified Critical Care Nurse, Tertiary care hospital Melbourne, Australia was the resource person for the seminar. He briefed and demonstrated various advanced methods and techniques of handling ventilator. In addition, he focused on vital roles of nurses in caring patients with ventilator.52 delegates attended the seminar actively. Mrs. Latha. S, HOD Department of Medical Surgical Nursing delivered the vote of thanks.
