A one day Industrial Visit for the 4th Semester B.Com & 6th Semester BBM students of the department of Commerce and Management was organized on 12th of March, 2016. The students along with Mr. Shekar, Senior Faculty left the college by 11:00 am. The objective of the trip was to have a visual study of the production and service industry. Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts was kind enough to permit our college students to have a plant tour. 35 students participated in the visit. They reached the Company at 1:45 pm. At the plant the students were asked to assemble in the seminar hall where the HR Manager gave a brief introduction about the company. After the presentation the students were divided into two groups and were taken inside the plant visit to view the different processes.
The HR Manager explained the process in such a simplified manner that B.Com and BBM students could understand technical application of the manufacturing process very easily. This was followed by a feedback session where each student expressed his/her appreciation and views on the visit to Toyota Kirloskar. The visit ended at 5.30 p.m.
