The 31st College Day of A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences was held on Monday, 21st March 2016 at KSHEMA Auditorium. Prof.(Dr.) K Ramnarayan, Former Vice Chancellor, Manipal University and Vice President, Faculty development and Alumni Relations, Manipal University was the Chief Guest. Prof.(Dr.) U.S.Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean delivered the presidential address.
Prof.(Dr.) Mithra N Hegde, Vice Principal welcomed the gathering. Prof.(Dr.) B Rajendra Prasad, Director, PG Studies, Prof.(Dr.) Priyadharshini Hegde, Dean, Students welfare and Heads of various Departments were also present. Mr. Maroof, Secretary, Student Council read the report of Student Activities of the year. Mr.Arjun Kini, President, Student Council delivered the vote of thanks.
Prizes for the various competition including Cultural, Sports, Eastern day, Western day and Variety day were distributed at the Occasion. The program was well attended by Heads of Various Departments, Staff, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students.
