Alumni Meet 2015-16 - NSAMFGC - Bengaluru

As the Alumni walked down admiring the scenic beauty of the campus at Dr NSAM First Grade College, Bangalore, they cherished the memories of their college days, and the path to excellence. The “U”NITTE”D” Nitte Alumni Meet on 27th February, 2016 was conducted at the college campus at 4.00 pm, under the  initiative of Dr Meera Krishnappa, Principal and the able leadership of
Mr Ramegowda,  Assistant Prof in Commerce and Management. The volunteers of the of the current batch of Final Year Students had taken a lot of pains to decorate the venue in an artistic and creative manner.



The program was inaugurated by Prof R Victor the founder Principal, Dr NSAM First Grade College, Bangalore who was the chief guest for the day.

The occasion was graced by more than 175 Alumni and their family members and also the former faculty of the institution. Alumni ranging across various batches attended in large numbers. The program was also attended by faculty and staff members of Dr NSAM FGC, Bangalore 

The meet started traditionally with an invocation invoking the blessings of the Almighty followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais – Prof. Victor, Dr. Meera Krishnappa, Mr. Puneeth Alumni from the 1st batch in 2000 and Mr. Mohan from 2003.

The Inaugural session continued with the welcome address by Dr Meera Krishnappa, Principal followed by the address by the chief guest Prof R Victor who expressed his joy and feelings on as a Principal in the institution and the pleasure of working with his colleagues and students. He stated that these were the most cherished moments of his career. The gathering was also addressed by Mr Punith Kumar and Mr Mohan who shared their experiences in the college. This was followed by the vote of thanks by Ms Bhavya Assistant Prof. Commerce and Management.

Many of the Alumni are successful in their careers while some are entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. Some of the students extended a helping hand to strengthen the linkage between the Alumni and Alma Mater .The programme continued with an entertainment program by our present students. There were songs and dances to entertain the audience. A Video track with old photographs was played which brought back nostalgic memories. The students recollected  their old memories with their teachers, batch mates, seniors and juniors. Many of the current students were also seen interacting with the seniors and learning from their experiences. In all, the ambience was a festive one filled with joy and happiness and the programme concluded with dinner. .
