The 67th Republic Day was celebrated by the students and staff of the college on 26th January 2016 with the traditional flag hoisting, salute and cultural programme.
The flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest Lt.Gen. Sampath Kumar PVSM, at 9.30 a.m. in our college campus. Soon after the hoisting of the flag and the salute, the Chief Guest elaborated on patriotism towards the country and our flag.
Dr. H.C Nagaraj, Principal, NMIT shared a few thoughts on the occasion. Dr. Meera Krishnappa, Principal, Dr.NSAM FGC and Mrs. Rajalakshmy, Principal, Dr.NSAM P.U College also addressed the gathering. This was followed by the cultural programme by the students of Dr. NSAM First Grade College.
The programme ended with the National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to the audience.
