World AIDS day 2015 was observed by NUINS, Dept of CHN, staff and students at Nitte Karkala. The programme started with inauguration of AIDS awareness rally by Mr.Dinesh ICTC Officer, CHC Nitte. Dr.Neetha Kamath, HOD dept. of Community Health Nursing ,Mrs.Suchithra BS Asst. Professor, Mr. Vallesh Sheety, Ms. Rakshitha guided the rally from CHC to parapaddi bus stop Nitte. A street play on HIV spread was enacted by 4th year B.Sc Nursing students followed by awareness talk on AIDS causes, symptoms, prevention and removal of stigma attached to AIDS. Mr. Dinesh ICTC officer highlighted the public regarding the functions of ICTC centre in and around Udupi taluk. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Ms. Flavia.
