NitteUsha Institute of Nursing Sciences,4th year B.Sc Nursing students organized health education for premenopausal and postmenopausal women at Madmalpade Anganwaadi, Palli, Karkala on 19-11-2015. Thirty three women in the age group of 30-55 years from the community participated in the programme. Health education was given regarding definition, steps, signs and symptoms of menopause along with its management to the women. At the end nutritional preparation was done for the pre and postmenopausal women consisting of Soya sambar and beetroot salad. Mejority of the women expressed their health problems such as tiredness, irritability, headache and body ache.
