The 16th College Day celebration, Award Ceremony and the Students’ Council Inauguration was held at the college on the 26th September 2015. Dr. M.Vijayakumar, Vice Chancellor, Yenepoya University was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr.M.Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte University presided over the function. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, K.S.Hegde Medical Academy welcomed the gathering with the introduction of the guest. The college annual report was presented by the Vice Dean, Dr. A.M. Mirajkar. Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, Registrar, KSHEMA presented the highest scorers in various subjects in examination conducted by the Nitte University. Mr. Shathanand Prasad, the Student President 2014-15 presented the student council report. The college Annual Magazine "10 (one zero)" was released by the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Students’ Council for the year 2015-16 was inaugurated, Dr. P.S.Prakash, the Vice Dean inducted the new Students’ Council and administered the Oath. Mr. Sayooj Sukrethan, Students President 2015-16 delivered the Vote of Thanks. The formal function was followed by the cultural programme by the students.
