A Management Development Program (MDP) on the theme “Leave Trading System-A Tool to Learn with Fun” was held at the Institute on 4th September, 2015. The theme was conceived and designed by Shree Radhakrishna Sharma, Professor of Finance of the Institute and he acted as the Lead Faculty. The MDP was inaugurated by Dr.N.K. Thingalaya, Chairman of the Academic Council of the Institute. He said that the Leave Trading System is a unique and innovative tool in fighting absenteeism of the students in the educational institutions. Dr.N.S. Shetty, Professor Emeritus of the Institute, Dr.Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, Nitte and Dr. K. Sankaran the Director of the Institute spoke on the occasion. Dr.Sudhir Raj K, Professor of the Institute acted as the Program Director of the MDP. Forty-one participants both from academia and industry took part in the Meet.
