The Nitte University has been attaching high importance and priority to ensure zero ragging. In its endeavor to work towards every opportunity to enhance and intensify its application, The A.B. Shetty Dental College arranged for a talk by The Police Inspector of Ullal Police Station on the legal implications and ills of ragging. He addressed the senior students, and also sensitized them against the evils of ragging, knowledge about the rights of victims of ragging and the duties of educational institutions.
Prof.(Dr) U.S. Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean, once again stressed and warned the senior students to refrain from any form of ragging. Prof.(Dr) Mithra.N. Hegde, Vice Principal, Prof.(Dr) Priyadarshini Hegde, Dean Students Welfare, Staff in charge Prof.(Dr) Pushparaj Shetty (3rd year in charge), Prof.(Dr) Manoj Shetty. (2nd year in charge) and Prof.(Dr) Shishir Shetty were present.
