Vanamahotsava at NGSMIPS

NSS Unit, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a Vanamahotsava at college premises on 27th July, 2015 at 9.30 am. Chief Guest of the programme NSS Coordinator of Nitte University Dr. Murali Mohan Choontharu, Professor, Dept. of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences spoke about the importance of Plantation and appreciated the NSS Unit to conduct such programme. Dr. C. S. Shastry, Principal, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences also spoke to the gathering on the noble cause of plantation and advised NSS volunteers to protect the planted saplings. Then Chief Guest Dr. Murali Mohan Choontharu, Dr. C. S. Shastry, and staff members of the institute planted saplings at the arena of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Santanu Saha, NSS Programme officer, other NSS Unit members and NSS Volunteers of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences also planted saplings.
