A Farwell function to Sri Dayananda Lagvankar, J.T.O. Electrican Trade on his retirement of 30 years service was held here at Tapovana, Thokur.
Dr. Rajashekhar Manjunath Registrar NET Mangalore presided over the function. Addressing the gathering, he opined that the teaching profession is a noble one. As a teacher he has the responsibility of nurturing the students and molding them into useful citizen. The students must be grateful to teacher with committed hard work and never forget them.
Principal Sri Y.N. Salian recalled the honest and painstaking efforts of Mr. Lagvankar and his contribution in the development of the institution On the occasion Sri Dayanada Lagvankar and Mrs Lalitha Lagvankar were honored on behalf of all the teaching and non teaching staff. Training Officer Sri Raghuram Rao, Office Superintendent Sri Sanjeeva Devadiga, Sri Gururaj Bhat , Sri Shivarama Devadiga, Sri Raghavendra Rao, Sri Raghavendra remembered their association with Sri Lagvankar Smt. Rajani Suvarna recited the prayer m Sri Laxmikanth welcomed, Sri Suresh S. rendered Vote of thanks. The program is compared by Sri Vishwanath Rao. All the staff and students were present in the occasion.
