16th Graduation - JKSHIM

Delivering the 16th Graduation address at the Institute on Monday 29th June, 2015, Shri H.Kumar, Managing Director, MRPL, Mangalore, said that value system, integrity and discipline will lead to an individual to achieve true success in professional and personal life. He awarded the certificates to the MBA’s of Institute at its 16th graduation ceremony. He said that the MBA’s after joining the organization should adopt the mentor to learn more. Challenges will start mounting everyday and the global business scenario is changing moment by moment. He emphasized that the future managers should respond to the changes quickly and spontaneously. Addressing the MBA’s, he said, “If you respond to the changes you will survive. If you move with the change, you will succeed and if you make the change, you will lead”. Presiding over the graduation ceremony, Dr. S. Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University, said that knowledge is power. Gaining knowledge should be the ultimate aim of the students. Reality needs to be understood with proper perspective, he added. Miss. Kavya M N has emerged as an academic topper in MBA with a CGPA 9.00. She also bagged the best project report award. Mr. Amrutia Meet was adjudged as the best out going student of the Institute. Director of the Institute Dr .K.Sankaran welcomed the guests and presented the annual report of the Institute. Dr. R. Krishna Kumar, PGP Co-ordinator, presented the students for the award of certificates. Dr. N. K. Thingalaya, Chairman, Academic Council of the Institute, Dr. N. S. Shetty, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, Nitte, Dr. Srinivasa Rao B, Controller of Examinations, NMAMIT, Nitte and the faculty members of the Institute were present on the dais. Professor Radhakrishna Sharma, proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Sudhir Raj K compeered the program.
