The department of Mass communication and Journalism, Nitte University has organized a one day workshop on “Online Journalism”. It was conducted by Ms. Gitanjali Diwakar, who is currently Assistant content producer at Manorama Online.
The seminar was very interactive and informative too. Also, the guest was successful in bringing enthusiasm and interest in students by giving activities that involves logical reasoning and creative thinking. Moreover, towards the end, there was questionnaire session, open to the audience. It gave opportunity for the students to clarify their doubts and curiosities about the glowing and growing 'New media'. Since the online media is youth's favorite medium, they really enjoyed the workshop. Moreover, they got to know how the New media actually works and how it is different from other media.
