School health check-up programme - KSHEMA

The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "school health check-up programme" on 21-01-2015 at CSI school Mulki. A school health programme was held in CSI Mulki on 21 January 2015 by Dr Arushi Chopra (Intern in Department of Community Medicine) under the guidance of Dr Savitha (MO,Mulki CHC) and Mr.Santhosh N P Medico social worker, Dept Of Community Medicine KSHEMA .The schools selected were CSI English MediumSchool Karnad ( 1st standard students were examined-29 children) and GPUC Mulki High School Section(8 standard -24 students) . Students were examined for height, weight, personnel hygiene, general physical examination and relevant systemic examination. For children who were suffering from minor health ailments were prescribed the relevant medications. A talk was given on personnel hygiene and good diet.The results were impressive as all most all the children were in best of their health.
