INSTITUTIONAL DAY CELEBRATION -2015 - NUINS

The annual day celebrations of NUINS (Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences) was held on 21st February Saturday in KSHEMA auditorium at 4pm. Chief guests for the evening were Mrs. Irene Veigas , Principal Sahyadri College of Nursing Mangalore, and Guest of honour was Dr. MS Moodithaya, Registrar, Nitte University. Mrs. Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal CON welcomed the gathering. In her speech the Chief Guest mentioned that a nurse is a unique member in the health care field, where nurses’ empathy and attitude will invoke strength and courage in patient and raise their will power which can lead to faster healing. Prof. Mrs. Fatima D’Silva, Principal College of Nursing, read the annual report of institution 2014.

Along with the academic toppers and student achievers in field of Cultural, Sports, Hobbies, best outgoing students Ms. Albiya T.s, Ms. Joshma and Mrs. Ashwini K.V from BSc(N), G.N.M & P.B.BSc(N) were also honoured on the occasion. The formal function concluded with Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal, School of Nursing. The program was hosted by Ms. Joyce Mable, Asst. Lecturer. A splendid cultural programme from students followed by live music orchestra by Shades was performed after the formal stage programme.
