The 27th IAP Undergraduates Quiz Mangalore Divisional Round was held on 22.08.2014 at Seminar Hall, Justice K S Hegde Hospital. This is the fifth consecutive year the department of Paediatrics is hosting the Mangalore Division round on invitation by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean of KSHEMA, Nitte University was the chief guest and inaugurated the quiz. Dr Shivaram Rai, President, IAP Dakshina Kannada Branch, presided over the function. Dr Vijaya Shenoy Prof & Head, Department of Paediatrics welcomed the gathering. Ten colleges including the colleges from Mangalore, Manipal, Mysore and Hassan took part in the Quiz. Dr Sudarshan Shetty, Professor, Department of Paediatrics was the quiz co-ordinator and quiz master. Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore were the winners and Kasturba Medical College, Manipal were the first runners-up. The programme was well appreciated by participants and audience.
