Karunya at Sneha sadan- home for homeless children - NIPT

On occasion of world physical therapy day, September 8th, 2014 the teaching faculty’s contributed community care service unit named “Karunya- helping hand for disabled “ celebrated their physical therapy day at Sneha sadan- home for homeless children in gurupura-kaikamba. As part of celebration and service health awareness lecture was delivered to the students of Sneha sadan- Sneha kids by Dr Dhanesh kumar k u, principal, Nitte institute of physiotherapy. Father Antony, Director superior of sneha sadan delivered brief talk on the kids of sneha sadan, and explained the role of service in human life to physiotherapy volunteers. Prof subash chandra rai, faculty NIPT welcomed the gathered kids and others. After the interactive session of sneha kids with physiotherapy students Karunya sponsored refreshments was served to sneha kids and sneha adults of orphanage.
